BEST year yet with some stellar returning Head Counselors...
Andrew Weiler:
a new history + math high school teacher has
had two previous years with our camp
and working part-time at The Paintball Arena. He's looking forward
to seeing familiar faces again this year and is
going to be introducing some slick new table games in our NEW GAMES ROOM he's
designed.
Matt Setchel:
is ALSO a new high school teacher, majoring in the
sciences. Matt has also been with
The Paintball Arena for some years now, and he brings a lot of experience as he
has played & coached Tournament Ball !
Matt also coaches downhill skiing in the winter and has a wonderful ability to
instill confidence and skill.
ALSO : We have a resident Warhammer 40K expert who
will be coming in every week to
hone the skills of those interested, and even the owner, Hal will be making a
weekly
visit to teach a terrain & painting segment and introducing Flames of War.

This
Camp is for designed for youth. We cater to those NEW to the Sport.
Players who have never played Paintball before will LOVE our camp.
We teach a lot of skills and play
TONS
of paintball every day.
We do everything from playing games like "ZOMBIE"
AND "D-DAY INVASION"...
to all sorts of "Capture-the-Flag"
games. We have over
30 scenario based games.
Our Referees
will teach you everything you need to become an awesome player.
Campers each get over a thousand paintballs to use and we provide all the
gear.
Everyday we play new, exciting games and we even have a Mini-Tournament
for those that want to try speedball (at the end of the week).
It's the most FUN
you can possibly have under a roof.
As
well as the obvious Paintball, Campers
will ALSO participate in a variety of activities such as
Basketball, Dodge-Ball and
Floor Hockey in our air-conditioned gymnasium.
Plus ! Out-door games twice a week ! Soccer & Extreme Frisbee are camp favorites.
In our Professional Games Room,
as always, we will be playing
"Warhammer 40K"
and other various table top games ...
We're not talking little fold-out
"bored games"...
you will be entering the realm of large-scale scenario table top games
complete with hundreds of miniatures.........
Hal (the game
designer) has pulled some VERY COOL set-ups this year....
Hal is still
going to be doing the crash-'em-up chariot races, back by popular demand is the starship troopers Bug-Hunt
and he's got massive pirate ships with miniatures for some crazy
sword-fighting-pirates-on-the-Caribbean,
the
kids will have the time of their lives..... and
BEST
OF ALL ... Play PAINTBALL every day !
Everyone had a BLAST
last year.... For Hal, the highlight was "the Auction"
We had a small Riot on our hands when the campers found that the Gypsy's Money
was only worth 10cents on the Paintball Buck... and they didn't have as much as
they THOUGHT they should have going into "The Auction".... serves them right...
they should have know better than to trust her.... for those of you coming this
summer...
BEWARE the Gypsy... take your Gold to the Bank.

Many parents express interest in sending their kids for multiple weeks.
Our new promotion helps this happen.
As well as giving the kids a LOT of camp time, ( Your kids could be occupied for
almost HALF the summer ! )...
the kids will be able "learn" and "develop skills" that they couldn't in a
single week of camp.
The multiple weeks will allow the campers to appreciate the games they learn ...
they will become experienced "paintball pros" by the time school rolls around,
and learning life-skills without realizing it.
While having the a ton of fun they will be developing confidence, team-work,
problem solving, and leadership skills.
They will also be able to go beyond simple introductions to our large table-top
games too...
they will be able to master them, learning tactics and strategies.

Available Weeks :
First come - first serve on
registration availability. Campers from previous years will have priority placement.
Each camper will receive a Minimum 1000 paintballs to use each week.
More paintballs are provided for extra gaming and surprise special
events throughout the week.
All the basic paintball gear is provided. MASK /// MARKER

The campers will learn about safety, the history of paintball, how the
equipment works as well as get individual lessons on how to play the game to the
best of their abilities.
NO ELECTRONIC MARKERS PLEASE
The Paintball Arena uses Slow-shooting Markers set to low, soft-hitting
velocities.
We promote the RECREATIONAL end of the sport and we unfortunately CANNOT
allow young paintballers to bring in any high-end-fast-shooting markers with
electronics.... everyone must play on an equal setting.
BUT :
If a camper has an ordinary, mechanical paintball marker please bring it along.
We'll make sure it's working properly on Monday and it can
be used Tues - Friday.
Of course, they'll also be playing LOTS & LOTS of Paintball.
They'll have a BLAST this summer. Meet other kids and build new friendships.
